Building Our Dream DVD, 82 mins, JJS Entertainment 2009. Description 1969 saw the start of what is now The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft. An event was held in 2009 to celebrate 40 years which involved no less than 16 trolleybuses in public service. This DVD has uninterrupted footage from the event plus rare archive footage of the early days up to the present. The Sandtoft Experience DVD, Video Production Services, Original release 1998, DVD update 2009 Description In 1998 the unique film "The Sandtoft Experience" captured events over a year at The Museum including the European Weekend and the 1998 Sandtoft Gathering. The film, a snapshot in time, goes behind the scenes to look at some of the work needed to keep things running and there's an interview with the founder member, the late Mike Dare. Since this film was made many things have changed at The Museum, and this 2009 DVD release includes 30 minutes of additional material as The Museum celebrates 40 years of operation. Description In May 2006 The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft held a large event to remember 70 years since Reading Corporation started trolleybus operation. With 5 Reading trolleybuses and a number of vintage motorbuses in operation, The Museum was akin to the streets of Reading in years gone.
